Kimonos again….how boring. So I will lose the items with the christmas Jacks inside that I collected in the events and in the Party Room?

  • Satoru says:

Thanks for the update but I have a question regarding the CP clothes that were added yesterday.
Is the new years male set easy to buy with makka in player shop or is it only possible through ridiculous trades in trade list?

  • DiabloTerrorGF says:

I believe they were both reindeer headsets and the male mustache thing that were edited. Also you are so maliced when discussing updates <_<

We could of had blizzard updates you know.

    • 守護霊母Finella says:

Because Blizzard adds so much lesser content than Cave.

I mean, 3 acts, 2 dungeons and 15 devils added this year is a LOT of content. 14 crystals over the year as well, can’t forget that!

Crafting? Other than a 5 slot answerer/yoseitou/cal`maria/death colt, is anything situational better than CP weapons?

I really enjoy the 26->70 run in sugi silver, before they add sugi gold too.

      Additional hints:

Nyarlathotep and Phantom’s plugin quest are bugged.
A few of the Shishimai Frost’s quest are bugged.
Zouchouten’s etc… friendship are still bugged.
Movement bug with charge skills is still there.
Pallas Athena’s resist melee skill is bugged
Warping issues in Suginami is still there.
Pathing issues in Ichigaya is still there.
      Re-union is partially bugged.

      Should I still carry on?

      Ignorance is sometimes bliss.

      • DiabloTerrorGF says:

And it’s still more than Blizzard ever gives. You never see any content added unless it’s an expansion.

Also explain your bugs, I have not ran into any of those except Ichigaya pathing(and the charging movement bug (that’s usally my own fault on trying to move while charging making me have to press escape). Zouchouten and the like are annoying still, yes, but if they aren’t over 51 or so or take way too long to kizuna, I just use melons anyways, they’re so cheap.

      • DiabloTerrorGF says:

And about crafting: Yeah everything is useless besides a few weapons. Why would you want them better than CP ones? Even though something has a 1% chance to make(which I don’t think is right cause they work better than 1%), you can easily collect materials to make them. I mostly use crafted stuff as stand-ins until I get better stuff.

sigh, fifi let me help you.

An interview on one of CAVE’s staff named Tera. Too lazy to translate it for you guys atm but they are mainly talking about the plans for megaten imagine and the processes of installing craps here and there. The funny part is when he was asked about their previous plans like:

“When is tokyo tower coming in?”
          reply:”no comment”
          nakano makai?
Note: CAVE made a constest like a year ago (or 2? feel free to correct me) for anyone to design megaten version of tokyo tower, winner was chosen but the poor chap’s design was yet to be seen. nakano makai is like waiting forever… you can see various dead ends on the game’s map of what places haven’t been implemented yet and there’s like lot of them.

well if you read the comments passing by, many people are expressing their discontent of the “no comment” plus the gacya’s (CP lottery) high prices/unfairness (I like the guys who told Tera just to go die in the comment box) .
Thing is they are too focused on lottery, technically what some people said of CAVE adding content every week is right: damage boosting craps, weird costumes, etc. except for contents for us to actually PLAY with.

Personally, I find their laziness and greed appaling. I never play WoW or other mmos but if you ever play MHF, they add like new monsters to slay every updates, and tons of things to play too. Too bad MHF is pay for play (yes, I’m a cheap ass, thanks)

And dont even let me start with CAVE ignoring my C++ visual error report btw, I suspect they feed heir employees to their hamsters.

If you go to 2ch there’s also a thread on 不買、ガチャ不満, spesifically discussing about their awful %tage of obtaining good equipments.

And if you wanted to play their lottery, there’s a simulation for you to try(forgot the link, will look it for you guys), I got craps on my first 50 tries. There’s also a niconico video of a player wasting 20000 yen (200USD) on their lottery.

I’ll look for the links later.

And aside from CP thread there’s also a thread on CAVE’s minimal effort to add playable contents too. Well, I gave you references to give fifi’s arguments more valid points. Many Japanese people are very dissatisfied with this game. I myself maybe will check to a shrink or something to know why I still play this game…

          • 守護霊母Finella says:

Minor correction. Tera is not just one of the staff. He is the HEAD developer of Imagine.

There’s an even earlier interview with him dated back around early 2007 which discuss what they intend to do with the game, but it has been removed from nico nico.

In it he talked about fusion accident (not in), tri union, nakano/shinagawa/ueno/ichigaya (only ichigaya and shinagawa are in) makai, casinos, devil colosseum, Ikebukuro, Yoyogo etc… and even showed preliminary artworks of them.

p.s. Anna, let’s check into a mental institution together. ^_^

          • DiabloTerrorGF says:

I see now. I never heard of all this discussed stuff. I’m fine with how the game as is, but I guess if this stuff was discussed awhile back, I’d be a little upset over not getting it.

Also I have the link to the lottery generator somewhere. Real in-game lottery has always given me good results though(I’ve only done 300cp 3 times though). Guess I just have some luck.

            • 守護霊母Finella says:

Not even luck can help you these days. Items from lotteries are getting more and more insane as the week goes by.

We started with fairly cosmetic stuff (seven schools etc) to +minor stats (chaos suits etc..) to damage for a particular element (rider) to damage for a movement type (china dresses) to the current state of +damage with cooldown/casting reduction.

Did a lottery 1 month ago and got a rare voucher? Sorry, not worth much now since it’s inferior to this week’s lottery.

Please spam CP to get this week’s item so that you can barter trade with others.

At least weapons are still relatively consistent, but the armor situation is getting out of hand.

        • 守護霊母Finella says:

You fail to understand economics. Melons etc are available because of rampart RMTing.

In fact, the entire economy is balanced around RMT since there isn’t a proper money sink in this game.

Cave knows this and that’s why they didn’t bother to ban all the farmers, and they are slowly introducing money sinks.

To give an example, the need for melons etc far outstrip the amount that enters the game through lotteries.

Ever check trade list during the 2 months period where melons/mirrors were not on any lotteries? The price for 5x friendship up shot up nearly to 1m and kizuna melon went for 400-500k.

There needs to be proper alternatives to CP items or the demand of CP item will just raise more and more, in turn causing makka to be worthless.

Makka RMTing worth is dropping and in 3-6months when their prices become worthless and farmers leave the game again, you will truly understand the nature of the economics in this game.

Things like screeching wind/thunder god are a step towards what Cave should do: weapons that match CP weapons in efficiency but require a huge amount of makka to produce.

Things like Kuzuna melons/mirrors/sequencers/clovers should have decent quests alternatives or as it stands now, enchanting/crafting doesn’t require CP items at first glance, but in reality, they do.

          • DiabloTerrorGF says:

I now understand what you mean(I think). Guess I’m too used to the current economic state the game is in right now. If I get what you are saying, CP should only be a quick way to earn things/a head start and makka/time be used as an alternative. Right now we can do this only because of RMT but eventually it will crash. Am I right in this assumption?

            • 守護霊母Finella says:

Mostly there. Everything is just too tightly tied to and balanced around CP , which is not how the game should be if it wishes to last another year.

At this point, it heavily depends on how fast cave can dump in money sinks/content etc or RMT will die out soon due to lack of profit, and we will see how ugly the economy of this game really is.
