Test World

From the 5th of February to the 19th of February, a new test world, “PaRaNoIA” will be created. 200 players will be chosen from the Kerberos world to test experience in advance the wonders of this new PaRaNoIA world.

PaRaNoIA

PaRaNoIA is a new Tokyo, along the likes of Kerberos and Chu Chulain. The only difference is that you get to enjoy the new “Versus” system in advance, before it is implemented on the 19th of February.

The chosen players will be notified by us via e-mail, and information about where to download the test client etc… will be given. Please test out the test world, PaRaNoIA.

New systems relating to Versus are scheduled to be place in-game on the 5th of February while the actual Versus system will be scheduled to be place in-game on the 12th of February.

Check in-game and the teaser site for actual information about the system. As a rule, we will not disclose anything other than confirmed bugs. Please understand this beforehand.

Also, GM characters will be giving instructions in-game. Please follow them.

* The character transferred will be the one the player use normally. Inventory/warehouses/devils will be copied over as well. However, items etc consumed on the test world will not be reflect on your actual world.

You can’t use the existing client to log into the test world. You’ll need a special client. Information will be on the e-mail we send. Please download and log into the test world.

People who join this game via Progamer Magazine will all be specially allowed into the test server. Please contact us if you fail to receive an e-mail by the 5th of February. Please give us information about test server as well.

Attention

You will not be able to purchase or use CP on the test server; it has been disabled. The time when you can log in are restrict to 2 time slots: （1）12:00～14:00 （2）18:00～20:00. You will be able to log into the test server even if the main servers are down for maintenance.

Due to a pact, direct armed conflicts between the Messian and Gians were prohibited for years…

The animosity that two factions have for each other have yet to vanish. It still continues through this false peace.

Fujimi Midgard

An area known as the Fujimi street used to exist in the Nakano ward west of Shinjuku.
An outdoor combat training ground has been build there secretly from the cooperative society.
People call that area “Fujimi Midgard”.

A man called Gondou is managing this training ground, and is gathering people who aren’t satisfied with the pact, those who wish to test their powers etc… there to have illegal duels.

The central area called Midgard can be referred to as Nakano and yet at the same time can be refered to as the world of human conflicts.

Now that devil busters learn about the existence of these illegal duels, they are once again dragged into the vortex of conflicts.

Be it for investigation purposes or for fame, the excitements from the fights will spur you on…

15 vs 15

During Fate, you can field a team of at most 15 players to form two teams, scarlet and azure, to fight in Fujimi Midgard.

Counting in devils, it’s a chaotic battle of 60 characters, a sense of tension you have yet to feel.

The victory condition does not merely involve defeating your opponents; you must capture certain locations on the battle fields. The one with more points win.

The is mostly targeted towards beginners compared to Valhalla which will be placed in at the same time. It will focus more on teamwork.

Yaginuma
Whenever a Versusis held, mysterous girls call Yaginuma will appear at various places.
Goudou have instructed them to managed the running of Versus, and they will provide information, registration etc…
The way they speak speaking and how the strange way they look, makes us think they are related to something else…
Who exacting is Goudou and these girls?

According to Norse mythology, those defeated in the human world, Midguard will be selected by the battle goddess Valkyries to become Einherjar, honored soldiers of the gods, to live on in Valhalla

Fujimi Midguard imitates that and those active in it will be brought to the next battleground.

The glory of victory is at state and a grand battle is about to unfold…

Valhalla

The are two paths that a hero can take:

The heroes who avoid death. They become the lords of the Earth.
The heroes who overcome death. They become the warriors of the heavens.

There are glories that only of the lords of the Earth can enjoy and there are glories that only the warriors of the heavens get to enjoy.

Remain in Midgard if you wish to be a lord of the Earth.

Or if you seeks to become a warrior of the heavens, cross swords with the numerous veterans at Valhalla who have hone their skills to the limits.

When people are mercilessly rank by their strength, will you be able to the glory of the heavens…

Colosseum

Southwest from Souhonzan, is an area previously known as Suidoubashi.

One of the wise sages, “The Intelligent Kusaka” had setup a research institute over there.

“Reincarnation Research Institute “… commonly known as Valhalla.

After Professor Kusaka disappeared, the previously abandoned institution was secretly modified into an illegal colosseum without the cooperative society knowing.

Two kinds of people are gathering at the colosseum: chosen warriors who seek to fight for glory. The other are influential people who are amusing themselves by gambling on the fate of the warriors fighting in death matches…

The latter definitely won’t reveal their name or make an appearance. However, rumors say that there are senior monks in the Gaian religion and priests in the Messian church among them.

There are no ideology. Order or freedom don’t exist. There are just nothing by endless fights…

5 vs 5

In Valhalla, groups of fives belonging to either the Scarlet or Azure team can be created, so that players and their devils can have a real fight in the colosseum for glory.

There is just one way to win: annihilate the other team to demonstrate your own powers.

Valhalla is a place where small group fights, so compare to Fate, individual actives are more important.

Valhalla, when compared to Fate depends more on direct confrontation. It’s aim towards higher level players. It’s recommended that you familiarize yourself with fields fights before coming to Valhalla.

Gondou

On the surface, he appear to be the senior officer, Parliamentary Official Gondou of the cooperative society.

However, in the backgrounds, he is the perpetrator who planned the construction of Fate and Valhalla and created the gambling syndicate.

He issued out orders secretly to the Yaginuma to run Versus in order to make a huge profit. The pnly ones who knew that he is the one running Versus are a bunch of corrupted officials.

However, the devil buster controlled by the player chanced about the truth during a certain incident and hence have went to confront him…

Hero

Since the dawn of Valhalla, there are rumors of an undefeated champion.
There are many rumors about him. However they are just nothing more than bits and pieces that cannot really be trusted.

Some say that he is one of the wise men. Some say that he was the one who we called a messiah in the past. It has been a while since he left the colosseum, so there are limited ways to know the truth. However, there is a statue celebrating his glory as proof that he was once here.

Became like him someday and overtake him.

That is the aim of the various warriors who are gathering at the colosseum…
