Expert Skills Changes on the 12th of February
Some expert skills have their cap increased and a new chain expert skill will be added on the 12th of February.
New chain expert, 王者の風格 (Appearance of a King)
This is a melee combat chain expert skill that have different characteristics depending on the type of weapon you use.
Skill is more powerful the more stamina you have.
- 鉄壁王 (King of Iron Walls): Drastically reduce the amount of damage you do. In return, you take less damage and will receive the super armor status. (note: super armor == no knockback)
- 封建王 (King of Feudalism): A toggle skill. Reduce the melee, range and magical damage your devil deals. In return, the damage you do with melee attacks and critical rate is increased.
- 兵隊王 (King of Soldiers): A toggle skill. When you use a 1-handed sword, the cooldown and casting time of your spin are reduced. In return, your spin does less damage.
- 勇敢王 (King of Bravery): A toggle skill. When you use a 2-handed sword, the damage your rushes do is increased. In return, the casting time of your rushes is increased.
- 血斧王 (King of Bloody Axes): A toggle skill. When you use an axe, the damage your attacks does is increased. In return, the casting time of your spins and rushes are increased. (Note: Attack here refers to skills with the attack movement type. i.e. basic/combo attack. It does NOT refer to all melee attacks.)
- 騎士王 (King of Chivalry): A toggle skill. When you use a dagger, the damage your rushes do is increased. In return, the casting time of your rushes is increased.
- 獅子王 (King of Lions): A toggle skill. When you use a spear, the damage your spin do is greatly increased. In return, the cooldown time of your spin is increased.
- 殉教王 (King of Martyrdom): A toggle skill. When you use a blunt weapon, the damage your attack does is greatly increased. In return, your critical rate and spin damage is reduced. (Note: Attack here refers to skills with the attack movement type. i.e. basic/combo attack. It does NOT refer to all melee attacks.)
New skill added for 忌門禁呪の法 (Curse of the Wretch)
New skills has been added for the chain expert skill. Here’s an example:
- 鏡破りの呪詛 (Mirror Destroying Curse): Remove the effect of tetrakan and makarakan
Cap Increase for Existing Skills
11 existing skills have their cap increased. As a result, new skills have been added.
アタック (Attack) 5-0 → 9-0
- ディスアーマーアタック (Disarming Attack): An attack that reduce the enemy’s resistance to blunt/pierce/slash.
- ヘヴィアタック (Heavy Attack): An attack that knocks enemy back in 1 blow.
スピン (Spin) 5-0 → 7-0
- トリニティレイダー (Trinity Radar): A spin that can be activated 3x in succession.
ラッシュ (Rush) 5-0 → 7-0
- 獣皇矛刃 (Weapons of the Imperial Beast)： A tricky rush. Casts quickly.
ショット (Shot) 5-0 → 9-0
- スパイラルショット (Spiral Shot)： A rifle shot that does damage to the target and all enemies in the bullet’s path.
ラピッド (Rapid) 5-0 → 8-0
- ヘヴィソニックトリガー (Heavy Sonic Trigger): A rapid that can be used 14x in succession. However, the knockback produced by 1 shot is huge. 2 bullets is consumed for each shot.
ガード (Guard) 5-0 → 9-0
- レゾリューションガード (Resolution Guard) : Enemies in a certain area is pushed back. However, damage taken is not reduced.
- ブロッキング (Blocking): Guard is activated instantly. However, your enemy recovers quickly.
カウンター (Counter) 5-0 → 7-5
- ファストカウンターポジション (Fast Counter Position): A toggle that reduce the cast time of counters. However, you have a reduced chance to deal a critical attack.
- ストライクバック・バッシュ(Strike Back Bash) : A powerful counter, deals damage to enemies within a certain area.
ダッジ (Dodge) 5-0 → 9-0
- マッハ・ダッジ (Mach Dodge): A quick dodge that you can use repetitively.
回復魔法 (Recovery Magic) 5-0 → 10-0
- エトナディ (Eternity): Remove the amnesia effect from you and the allies around you.
- メディアラハン (Mediarahan): Greatly heals you and the allies around you.
破壊魔法 (Destructive Magic) 5-0 → 10-0
The higher rank spells can now be learned.
操魔 (Magic Control) 6-0 → 7-0
New toggle skills that increase the elemental damage you do has been added.

Hmm, interesting increasing and new skills. However, how will you be able to max these expertises? Seems like they want you to focus on only 1 Chain expertise.

Well it’s EtonaDei, as all these skis have Dei as a suffix. Katakana for eternity would be something like be イター二ティ.

I just looked up Eternity on the internet. 100% that spell is not supposed to mean eternity, so I was just letting readers know posthaste. No big deal.
Yes, ディ is often used in place of di, because Japanese lacks a ti sound, so tei is used instead (as an approximation) Then dei can also be di for consistency sake. But it is technically デ(de) and not ヂ(di) after all.
PS: Is is just my imagination, or is their always malice when you speak?? Even as put, why would Eternity end in di and not ti? Think about it.
Congratulation, you have once again prove my point that you don’t understand Japanese, romanization, how extended Katakana works or the concept of translation vs transliteration.
If you romanize ディ as dei, kindly tell me how you will romanise デイ. Or better, how are you going to note the pronunciation difference?
Another hint: ヂ is romanised as ji in Hepburn and dzi in Wapuro. If you want to claim that you are romanizing it based on Nihon-shiki, hence it’s di, fixed your own wiki since you are using tsu/chi all over the place instead of tu/ti.
Again, I’m translating, not transliterating. Eternity is far easier for an English speaker to remember than Etonadi.
Let me throw my question back to you again since you love to miss things. By your logic why is economy エコノミー?
English speakers definitely don’t pronounce the E in economy with an “Eh” sound.

え/エ have a pretty wide range of pronunciations compared to the other vowels. I don’t personally say economy like イコノミー if that is what you’re getting at. Though if you do that is not wrong afaik. Whatever sound catches on in Japan is pretty arbitrary.
Hepburn and Wapuro are not used anymore for a reason. I use modern romanization rules like in all contemporary textbooks… and actually sounds like Japanese and not Chinese. I don’t know what it’s called. But ツ is tsu, and チ is chi, and ジ is shi (not the same base as tsu — though looks virtually identical)
Without using loaded language or character assassination (which even if I was want to, you do a better job yourself than I ever could) …I’m just trying to help people avoid bad information on the internet. Has nothing to do with you personally.
And I don’t know how to differentiate between ディ and デイ. When typing it x is used. I think the distinction is too insignificant to transfer into English phonetics for non-sense words.

Because romanizing ディ as dei is the RIGHT thing to do, amirite? Let’s just ignore the fact that NO romanization system render it as dei, except in this miraculous “Michael modern romanization rules” that no one else, other than you use.

Spoiler: Wapuro means word processor. You are using Wapuro the moment you try to type something in Japanese. And Wapuro isn’t even a proper romanization system since different manufactures use a different variant of it!
