The pairing _could’ve_ be okay if they had more small cutscenes involving Feldt’s silent longings (which there was like one at the very beginning when they found Setsuna after the time skip and the one you just mentioned at the very end so far)….
She is an introvert after all.

I don’t think that scene was supposed to imply any sort of pairing. Feldt’s just an overly concerned friend – perhaps they made her that way as a sort of fanservice for Feldt fanboys, iunno.
