Edit: Oh dear, damage increasing card that adds 50% damage, +400% mp or hp regen and +10 to a combat stat and it stacks with existing damage increasing fragrances…

These new cards last for 24/72/720 hours.

Theorycrafting time.

Using Delorean, I already hit gandharva for 6-7k with normal fragrances/enhance, and that’s already overkill since gandharva only have around 4.2k hp… Heck, I’ve a 100% chance to 1 hit them with delorean WITHOUT fragrances.

With the new cards, delorean probably will do about 7-8k damage…

Kamaitachi is probably enough to 1 hit them 100% of them time now since the last time I tested, I did~ 3.7k-4.6k against them with just fragrances/enhance.

Utterly and completely balanced. Will not screw up PVP even further either.

Oh my, +400% mp or hp regen. OVERPOWERED.

  • RikkuHime says:

    Oh dear…

These things are just getting more and more overpowered :/

I guess soon hitting max damage will be the norm.

    • 守護霊母Finella says:

With fragrance/max enhance, I already hit anything weak to fire/ice/zan 9999 100% of the time if I have the appropriate charm equipped and they are chaos. :/

“Only” 7-8kish against Koumokuten due to lack of +lightining stuff…

      • RikkuHime says:

        Hrm?

Gear gap is worse than I thought then.

      • Kuraokami says:

        D: share ur dd/destruct mage build pls~

        • 守護霊母Finella says:

I pretty much run a pure PVE build now since I rarely PVP after Chiaki went in.

          10-0 Destruct
          7-0 Magic control
          2-0 Curse
          1-0 Bless
          1-0 Rush
          2-0 Attack
          2-0 Weapon knowledge
          1-0 Survival

For a short period, I run with 3-0 regal but my damage PVE-wise is already high enough without it and so I’m concentrating more on utility now.

          • Anna says:

Speaking of Chiaki’s gourei, actually there’s this bug that I experienced, it’s like eien no eisyou aka eternal casting. Sometimes skills go like eternal cast without casting timer on, cancelling and recasting did solve it but still….. SLOPPY CODING.

            • 守護霊母Finella says:

As if that and can’t-move-after-charging-a-skill are new >.>

              • Kuraokami says:

erm what would a pvp dd/mage build be like? and pls tell me how to put stats points..pretty confused because first time building mage :p i know magic is important and has to be maxed, but what else should i put? intelligent? or strength? ?_?

                • Anna says:

strength for pure DD damage , int if you want to put enhance as secondary skill sacrificing around 20-30% more damage than usual.

str/mag goes convenient if you counter magic resistant foes aka beat them with normal attack, int/mag goes convenient if you have no enhancer, but you became somewhat limited in function if there’s a dedicated enhancer in PT (still can beat magic resistant foes with megidos though, but megidos rely on magic stats only, so far megidolaon with 70% enhance = 2.5k on gandhaven…).

DD reliance on 2 stats instead of one is the thing which makes it powerful magic type attacks, but limited to only 4 elements, soooooo when we met nightmare kirins, we cried and grumbled. (‘-’

top pvp mages go regal4-0/DD4-0/curse1-0 or 3-0 usually, but variations exist. I’ll let fifi elaborate on this.

                • 守護霊母Finella says:

There’s already a pretty lengthy discussion here for PVP.

I personally favor a regal/dd/curse build over enhance/dd/curse since the burst potential on the JP server is high enough that without enhance, mages can easily 1 hit most players who don’t stack regal/fragrances.

              • Anna says:

hey, can’t-move-after-charging-a-skill bug is free. gourei’s eternal casting is 60mil makka price >.>

  • Uhm says:

I have a question about EN version.
With everyone getting stronger, i feel like my full support enhancer become more and more useless(max int & vit as 2nd stat).
Are there still full support enhancers in jp version or everyone went hybrid there ? Should i go hybrid with mag ?
I really like supporting , i just dont know what to do anymore .><

    • 守護霊母Finella says:

A pure enhancer or at least a enhance/cotw build is still somewhat popular here since enhance/damage hybrids don’t really work until they hit the 80s due to a lack of stat points.

    • Anna says:

Usually JP parties wants pure enhancer with low enough cooldown to cast Assault in every room. Typical 5 players CP gears JP runs clear each room in less than 5-10 secs starting from first spawn in the room, well (no bragging intended) even with just 2 active mages (and 2 passive supporters), me and fifi can even clear 1 room in less than 8 secs.
So basically the shortcoming enhance-hybrids have is the long cooldown, and need to be high level for 2nd stats to be high enough to do damage and their damage isnt that great even with fragrances plus skill points as usual are insufficient even if you’re lv 90.

If you feel bad about “semi-leeching” as full enhancer, you can do the following:
-Reunion a devil, raise it to be strong and let it rip everything apart, up to you to decide which one gonna be your awesome partner (note: humans can do better damage still, but at least it alleviates your guilt)
-Get full MI set (+60% exp to pt)
-Get Chiaki costume for Devil King’s Command skill
-Get elemental nulls, resist melee, resist gun, etc
-Use disabling abilities aside from cotw i.e.marinkarin + nekomata for treasure hunting in ceru gold(kinda redundant tho, since gunners can charm more mobs faster), estoma for nullifying aggroes.

If your pure enhancer have all those things above, every person will be very very happy to have you in their PT (especially full MI PT).

      • Verilligo says:

So are JP parties unfavorable to pure Enhancers that don’t do anything other than use Enhancement? I’ve been tossing around a build in my head for 4-0 Regal, 5-0 Enhance. Spread would be

        Curative – 9k
        Support – 5k
        Bless – 1k
        Survival – 5k
        Weapon Knowledge – 4k
        Attack – 2k

Idea here being to make yourself as invincible as possible. You could probably just walk into the middle of Ichi Gold and take hardly a scratch, letting your team pick off everything without aggro worries. Guys on Aeria seemed to think it had potential, but I’m not sure how well-received it would be.

        • 守護霊母Finella says:

Pure enhance + regal without cotw is pretty useless. It’s better off to just disable everyone from attack you, rather than reduce damage from getting forced attack on.

          • Verilligo says:

And I take it in PvP things are skewed away from Enhancement in general? It’d be a decent thing to bring to bear in the tactical match. I see your point, though, and that was my main concern. You could sacrifice some off of Enhancement to get CotW, but that sort’ve defeats the entire point of being an Enhancer.

            • Anna says:

unless they enabled reflect rule, Enhancer’s role is pretty limited in pvp >.>
But if reflect is enabled then mages and people will go crazy with megidos as inb4 fifi explained 5 mages + devils with megidola/on with 5 chiaki’s costumes = ????

  • Uhm says:

Alright thank you ^^.That helps alot.

Now i was wondering about my expertises, right now i have alot of left over expertise points.Max enhance + Cotw class 2.
I was wondering if the cotw skills were for the whole party, if so i could help my party with those hexes ?
Just a little confused what to do with my expertise points.

    • Anna says:

CoTW is a very “sighhhh, idk..” chain skill, only useful skills in cotw are the erosion hex (aoe) plus wound hexes (single target), 4-5 are sort of giving enemy a buff actually, 5-0 is even more useless since PVP = no reflect hence the only place to use it is in Ichigaya deep 108F runs (well, maybe ceru gold too but not likely)

Erosion hex is versatile, wound hexes are good in PVP only, so 1-0 is enough in PVE, 3-0 for PVP.
Up to you to decide actually, maybe learning magic control to 2-0/5-0 to cut MP cost and cast time?….. 5k points for 50% MP cost cut tho.

(just please dont raise occultism for int boost, that one is really tough to raise as in very very tough and +6 int in exchange for 6k point is so ewww).
