wow someone actually copied and pasted that convo. It also shows how sometimes GS cant even answer a simple question about a brute charm. I had to go and try to read out the jpwiki with a translator, which i very much hate because i don’t trust them, just to find the answer I was looking for. I thought the Gs where there to help us out, but half the time im also ignored by both GS and GM.
There’s always the option of asking stuff here or somewhere else :P

Finella and me don’t have Avalon lol, but we know it have +20% shot bonus. Finella and me dont have Talisman Azure lol, but we know it deals +8% damage to Law enemies and reduce 5% damage from Law enemies, Finella and me long ago didn’t have charm sprite lol (we have t now), but back then we know it has +20% racial damage boost to Fairies when it was out. So much for them working their ass for this game.
But that GS is right on 1 thing actually, he’s indeed not gifted after all.
Oh, ToadGX, btw, Brute Charm only affects the 1 small race, so only affects cerberus, orthros, nekomatas. Fenrirs/Kirins not affected. Sharpshoot chain is different story though.
PS. I didnt need to glance at the wiki, honest.
Oh thank you for the help, I was just wondering that while I was offline, because I was comparing it the sharpshoot expertise. So since the brute charm does not affect the damage I do to kirins or fenrirs, is the a talisman that does affect the damage? Thanks in advance, and I’ll be sure to ask any more questions I have here since you guys have been so helpful.
There’s a charm for Kirins/Slepnir (Charm Holy, +20% against Holy Beasts), but none for Fenrir right now.

I once found a plasma botter running around and reported it to the shoutbox. Kuen was like “take SS and report at once or tell me which channel and location so I can report him”, but after I chose option 2 he kept insisting that I must report it myself or else I’d be breaking the ToS. Then GMs came on and when I told them they teleported to the location and had to keep following him around and sending him messages before they decided it was a bot.
In short, yes I believe they can detect every small changes in the client or when people use bots =o
Plasma bots… they are horribly rampart on the Japanese server too and Cave couldn’t do anything about them.
Chance of Aeria being able to effectively do something against them is…?

The part that I dont understand is, if a GS is helping reporting a violation then the reporter is also breaking the ToS?…. So basically, the best way of not breaking the ToS is actually to ignore botters since the “police” will arrest BOTH the botters and the reporters….? Dear god, this is deep logic shit!! Need superb reasoning to handle the ToS!

No, no, GameSages are actually unpaid, please understand their sacrifices, they worked their asses for this game-> they have to answer difficult questions like what charm brute affects in soapbox, they have to patrol for profanities in the game, they have to sit all day in babel while waiting for tuesday FC to come, and they have to kiss GMs asses (and we all know that ass kissing is actually a tough living.)
Gamesages is the epitome of sacrifice and martyrdom, you see, and therefore we should burn them at the stakes!
