Fansubbing Update – End of Spring
My part for the two spring project that I’m on (gSS’ Basara and Frostii’s Eden) is pretty much done.
The last 2 episode of Basara got hijacked by gg because Eej is an idiot~.
Due to work commitment, I won’t really be able to TL any anime in a timely manner for this upcoming season, so I’ve pretty much turn down all TL requests.
Maria+Holic stuff will still be continued though, and I’ll try to finish off Nuke’s Kurokami as soon as humanly possible.
Higurashi Rei and Nipaa? My ragequit meter is charged up to 90% right now.

But but but I was told that all fansubbers are losers that live in their parents’ basement and don’t understand that making anime is work because they don’t have jobs!

have not kept up with Higurashi Rei and Nipaa past ova 1, has it sunk into oblivion for story?
Not really a problem with the story, more of a problem with the fansubbing staff.
Yay a relevant (enough) post that I can comment on!! I was like, super bored one day and I downloaded each version of the oversubbed 東のエデン to see how everyone translated 今後も救世主たらんことを and I have to say that I feel like yours was the most accurate. As 救世主 appeared to be used as a verb, your “Please continue performing your deeds as a Messiah” seemed to connote that closer than simply saying “continue to be our/a messiah” or “continue to be our savior”, given also the context that each of the Selecao (where’d my AllChars go…) are attempting to become the person who saves Japan, and is not yet the Messiah or Savior and are merely those who are chosen.
So like, you win my worthless award!! And hell I could just be wrong anyways.
Anyways not really tryin’ to be a suckup (as there’s nothing to be gained from it anyways) but I wanted to say I appreciate your work.
Is the problem with Higurashi that that one guy is still in China looking for a wife?
