At first glance, Tokisada, Momunofu, Yomotsuikusa and Karasutengu uses spears, so most people who have never been to the boss room, would think they do piercing damage, and thus, a unicorn can tank them.
Unfortunately, this isn’t true. On top of that, Yomotsuikusa have lightning trust, which means he can do weakness damage to unicorns, and might even 1 shot them.
What am I implying? Geez, I wonder. :P

More fuel for the fire, I suppose.
Anyways, what are the %-Values underneath each demon, I can only guess that the % shown is the end result of an attack. So with Tokisada, in the simpilist ideal, a 100 Damage “Slash” attack would only do 55 damage, correct?
Those are resist values so yeah, you’re right.
Mages can’t really damage Tokisada as he resist all the 4 main elemental attacks, along with almighty.
As pointed out when I said I couldn’t even out damage his HP regen with counter, I was forced to Buy HP cures from IM mid run, or fail to finish run. (So that I could use normal swipes, guard, and not just counter)
Now what are chances a DD mage(yuki) and an Ehancer/mage with only 25% damage on him, with sub par gear Finish run.
Not to Mention not rember a single thing about the run, even though the spent the last hour+ in that room.
Sure as hell left a lasting memory for me.
BOTH are DD? Whoa, that makes me even wonder more on how they pass nightmare mobs.
1)N. Turdaks and N.Momu are unknockable AND have loads of HP.
Momus can be tanked with unicorn? Deathbound, dear. Turdaks are worse, and we all know that the notion of DD users of killing 2-3h rush of unknockables without proper tanks are absurd.
2)N. Arahabaki reflect-fest on DD, oh yeah, can use nakama… but His Mudo spam? maybe their unicorn has dodge and they pressed it on good timing. Feasible if they can pass this.
3)N. Kirins, bane of all mages, ick. I’m sick of them after 5 floors.
FYI, Fifi broke lots of daggers, I spent 4k bullets, Mathias broke some weapons just for 1 run. Lots of zombiing in boss room, we have no athena back then.
Another fact: Rewards are sorted from the most common to the rarest in gkwiki. Cursebringer is the second from the most bottom. In JP server it wasnt that common either.
If they can pass boss room without giving up then they deserve it since they have awesome patience on playing.
There is also a probability they are really really really really really lucky and got it after a run, random is random afterall desssss.
inb4 a troll said we are all pathetic whiny little bitches, so who are we to judge? v(^ ^
Not only that, how did they get the summon orb if they didn’t even know where to go to get it?
Really though, I know if I got that far I would be taking Screen shots like crazy. That’s just me of course.
Summon Orbs they could’ve bought from someone. I wonder if they knew they needed one though xD
And yeah, If I ever get there I’d be taking screenies and telling everyone about it, especially the loot part.
the orb to spawn Tokitoki? Jiko’s gakis drops it if it is indeed the black green stone thing, not that oh so rare.
“What am I implying? Geez, I wonder. :P”
That unicorn cannot be used for tanking on for Tokitoki battle therefore it justifies the doubt of many people on a GS’ legal possesion of 2nd Cursebringer? (‘ ‘
I’m curious though how exactly do you access Ichigaya lower floors? There isn’t much information out there about it that I’ve been able to find.
Also a question about the skill list but since even Toki uses elemental swords and I’m assuming doesn’t have a normal attack am I right in saying elemental affinity resists/immunities work against it then?
You start off at B8.
In the 3rd room of B8, you can trigger the terminal there for cards to B9 to B11.
B9 to B11 are where the HDD for the other kings are spawned.
B12 onwards are a repeat of B8: 3 rooms, the elevator, then 2 more rooms.
Like B8, you can trigger a switch in the 3rd room to spawn treasure chests.
These chest have a chance to spawn a B17, B27, B32 or an unknown card.
Most of the time though, they’ll only have consumables in them.
The unknown card will take you to B107.
The last floor you travel down is actually B35. B36 to B106 don’t exist.
When you reach B35, the chest there will always spawn with an unknown card, and the last 2 rooms will be locked.
After you get the unknown card, go back to the elevator, use it to travel down to B107 and proceed on to whack the boss at B108.

To be technical, Tokisada do have a normal attack, just that his attack is based on a different element from your usual slash/blunt/pierce. :P
Resistance etc… will work for 2 out of his 3 attacks.
Using something that void expel/curse damage to tank him would work.
However, he does attack with special slashing and that’s almighty based, i.e. can’t be avoided.
I assume the special slashing is similar to the spin the Ichigaya Hack run pixies use. But if resistance will work for 2 out of 3 of his basic attacks, than I guess a Mot would be the best demon to bring with you. Thats disregarding whether its nerve/psyche immunity would help against the Erosion Hex.
Either way it just says to me I can’t see how anyone who doesn’t have some form of knockback negation, specially fused demons and enhancements out the wazoo could even do this run.
Thats some really useful information to know~
Nuh-uh, it’s normal attack with almighty base, pretty tame compared to that pixies massmurder (^-^
(can be tanked pretty well too except if you bring unicorns)
Intermezzo drama
guys, funny thing i read in aeria BBS today:
“Okay Okay, What if I was a Gamesage…(Just Saying)
What were to happen if I were to get a Blade of Flames or a Lucky Pixie right when Open Beta started? It could happen. Would you guys hate me? I am just saying. If something is possible, anyone else can do it. Maybe they did it when No Death Penalty was on? Maybe they were lucky enough? I remember when Open Beta started, A friend and me soloed Ichigaya Hack when NDP on. We were below level 20. We risked it and it took 1 and a half to complete it. Course, we were lucky on that first run. I got an inexperienced succubus and he got an Accomplished Flamies. Course, back then, I thought it sucked and I couldn’t even summon it. Soo…back on topic.
If someone got a good item back then, would they consider it cheating if no one else got that lucky?”

you see, ellismai is smart for someone with 1 post versus 680ish posts~
moreover, ichi hack with lv 20ish? 1 hour and a half? sarasvati there cant buff and heal no? RIGHT~~~
Ichi Hack… I tried it only one time. Gave up with my level 50+ Chara after 30 minutes trying to defeat the Titanias in the first room. I was not able to kill even one of them… But okey, we all know I am not a good player…but defeat them with only level 20?
