hi, 5(2) new sets were also a lie too, see new pattern here? It's the new trend for CAVE to lie in patch notes to add "playability"~ Can you guys figure out which is right or which is wrong? Do you have what it takes to endure lies after lies? Find out and play Imagine now!

So, the Suzaku boss is actually a completely random spawn?

I remembered reading in the patch note about Suzaku can be spawned "when certain criteria are met".

To this day, details of these criteria are still a big unsolved msytery among the Chinese playerbase.

CAVE is really screwing us a big time if that's the truth.

A few things to take note:

1) The frequency of Suzaku's appearance was adjusted a few times on the Japanese server, so he might appear here more frequently compared to the rate on the EN server.

Basically one of the GMs spawned 50 round of Suzaku Caravens and found that Suzaku only spawn once.

Spawn rate was adjusted after that.

2) We have rare drop events, where the drop rates of certain items are increased up to 5x, and thus, plugins enter the world more often during those periods.

IMO, Suzaku is "harder" to get since you're running a long, boring dungeon with close to zero other decent rewards. Motivation is a huge issue here.

At least for Bishamonten, you're still getting XP and it's somewhat fun to fight 3 kings at once.

In terms of use though, both are crappy devils.

Suzaku is weak to magic, and can be touched by nerve/mind, making him useless in both PVP and PVE.

Suzaku has low base stats too, 31 p.attack, 40 rng.attack, 43 m.attack, 47 support.

Only thing he's good for is healing, and yet he doesn't comes with the +50% healing trait.

Sure, he has fire boost but you might as well use Hathor for that, and Hathor has better resistance, nearly the same base stats, AND have the +50% healing trait too.

Suzaku's crystal is pretty useless too, and I doubt the crystals of the other 3 guardian beasts will be implemented anytime soon.

As for Bishamonten, his crystal is useful, since before the June 2009 crystals, his is the only one that offer +3 str.

Worth after that is heavily diminished since Hanuman's crystal is easier to produced and thus, most chaos melee only need 1 Bishamonten crystal for PVE purposes.

As a devil, Bishamonten have fairly high base stats at 60 p.attack, 47 rng.attack, 47 m.attack and 44 support.

His resistance isn't that bad, but his lack of a decent traits make him quite a lousy offensive devil. Case in point, he has slash boost and yet his default melee attack is piercing base.

tl;dr. Both are useless unless you're a chaos melee and even then, you only need 1 Bishamonten crystal once Hanuman's crystal is implemented.

On a semi-related note, everyone in that topic keeps commenting that Zhe Que is the most difficult demon in the game to get... However, I always thought Bishamonten was more difficult since he requires numerous runs that also rely on extreme amounts of luck to get a crapload of specific items (which is somewhat backed up by the fact I've seen a total of about 3-5 people running around with Zhe Que, but nobody running around with Bishamonten).

In your opinion, woul you say Suzaku/Zhe Que is harder to get, or Bishamonten? And while we're at it, are either worth the work it takes to get them?
