It’s been close to a week since this comment.
Don’t give me excuses like you are too busy or there are no response from Aeria yet. Reliable sources indicates that you have been spamming the shoutbox daily over the past week, not to mention that your last visit to this site took place less than 12hrs ago.
Please grow a pair of balls and remove all ToS breaking content off Aeria’s wiki and rehost them somewhere else.

Still say Aeria should actually FIX their Terms of Service first, etc… Then again, it’s written by lawyers of all things. But at least putting the same clauses that Cave apparently has would help…Might take a slight while though…
My top 3 favorite likely outcomes that I’ve thought out for this situation are:
1. Aeria decides to completely ignore situation /sweepunderrug
2. Wiki is rolled back LOLLERSKATES
3. The wiki is actually moved or altogether taken down resulting in mob of hateful comments on this blog (by weaboos who will still use your tables and charts but pretend they are translaterizing it from elsewhere)
#2/#3 would be highly amusing. Then again, Aeria’s wiki has been kinda fail always…They’d be doing a favor to put it out of its misery.
*yawn* all you can do is complain about how ‘shitty’ the wiki is, you are all welcome to make it better, do research, provide info…
but yeah, that would be too much to ask, it’s always so good to sit back and just complain
oh i forgot, you use fifi’s info, so you are breaking ToS too, to which you all agreed to when creating an account with Aeria

well, moving the wiki to be rehosted in non-aeria site wouldn’t be too much to ask too. But yeah, half-baked trolling is so good and not counterproductive.

Well, you’re right and you’re not right. Firstly: if it’s your job in translating, then this have to be credited. But secondly: you have this infos from japanese sites, and if you are talking about ToS, then talk too about your ‘thieving’… If we must be strictly and principal.
Kuenaimaku haven’t did a good action with that ‘flip’, it should be credited. But: if you haven’t played fair, then why you demand fair play on other side??
And it’s really not important, if they ‘chetaed’ 20 times, and you only 15… or – as in that case – they cheated 2 times, and you only one.
Judging from the language used and your IP, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt that you don’t understand half of the text that’s being thrown around.
1) I don’t just translate things. Pretty much everything presented here is from my OWN “hacking” of the client files. Have fun telling me what I stole from the “Japanese sites”, considering I contribute to Ahirukumi, among other sites.
2) I’m blatantly obvious in my violation of Cave’s ToS. Never have I ever conceal that fact and most of the screenshots/videos I take show the names of my characters in plain sight. Heck, I’ve even been suspended before.
I demand Kuenaimaku to “play fair” per your words because he’s the one insisting it in the first place.
Let me put this in simpler terms:
- Kuenaimaku in the past used the ToS in various situation to put people down for fairly minor things.
- Even though Kuenaimaku did something wrong, he gives excuses for his actions. These excuses were of a similar nature given by those he put down.
I cheat and I admit it. Kuenaimaku on the other hand, cheated, get caught, and just pretend nothing happens.
This isn’t about credit or anything.
…Can you explain to me the reasoning behind the companies using those all-inclusive terms of service? Is it Copyright issues, or something else? Because from what I can see, they’ve got more to gain from having people analyze client files and spot check translations/item effects (especially in Aeria’s failtastic ones…which reminds me, I think LocalizerMike died of typo overdose back in closed beta…Someone should really check on him.)

Yeah, I think you’re going to need a brand new post soon to convey your thoughts pl0x. You are OBVIOUSLY possibly lying about your reverse engineering. Also, I like how scattered throughout the thread so far are people questioning why it’s so important to give credit… because that’s CLEARLY what your issue is. You want credit, you credit whore. Cheap Whore>Credit Whore at least we’re saving pennies with our whoring <3

That’s quite a cop-out there.

It’s a violation of Cave’s ToS for Aeria to use said information.

Cave just doesn’t care about the issue yet. Or maybe the GM’s just haven’t told them.
Aeria is violating CAVE’s ToS~ that thought zipped past my head. I love it. What CAVE (ToS) will Aeria violate next?! Stay tuned!
The only thing is, they do have a point about Wiki being a public site that anyone can pop into and edit. As for Aeria condoning the info in question and hosting it, that’s a matter of their business’ image/integrity/moral standing/consistency etc… all of which are mostly non existent at this point. They should have at least just ignored it without the lame(bullsheit) responses trying to convince everyone that there was possibly no reverse engineering though.

Well, at least we know one thing: Aeria GM’s condone stealing. By their logic, I could steal a car and get away with it. After all, would do you know for sure that I took it? It could’ve rolled to where it was, or maybe the owner of the car could’ve given me the car and lied about it afterwards.
Aeria thinks stealing is cool. Pure genius on their part.

from what i can see you all benefit from that stolen info, by that logic you shouldn’t use her tables, her demon info, her fusion canculator, her tarot and soul stone list etc etc etc
since by using that info you are violating Aeria’s ToS, Cave’s ToS and god’s divine law, amen
