An emergency patch is currently being carried out because a whole bunch of items have the wrong characteristics tagged to them and stuff are broken left and right.
Now for the pre-emergency patch notes, and other stuff.
Patch Notes for the 19th of August
- Diaspora Shinagawa implemented. B-class DB license required.
- End of Escape from 3rd Home V
- End of Wildcat Event. SP rates are back to normal and usual race restriction are back.
- New Servant Pet related quests have been added. Activated in Protopia.
- Some files have been compressed
- New item mixing recipes introduced
- Random text changes
- The shield pillar suppression time for Diaspora fields will now be shown imposed on the shield pillar icons in the mini-map.
- Item for CP related promo have been given out.
Diaspora Shinagawa
New rewards are 3 skills, +1 comp slot and Metatron’s plugin
- Boogie-Woogie: Shot-type skill, damages everything in a straight line, does weapon-based damage. Dependent on p.atk (if melee weapon) or rng.atk (if range weapon) for damage.
- Grinding: Passive, 50% chance to void an attack that would otherwise kill you.
- Racial Friendliness: Passive, 100% chance to successfully land conversation skills on devils that have the same minor race as the devil you summoned.
Metatron
Level 97, resistance different from placeholder. 135% ice, void expel/death/mystical/nerve/mind, 60% for the rest.
Traits are expel boost, force boost and -50% mp cost
Can only inherit wings, slam, needle and eye skills.
Starts with Maha Zandyne, Mahanmaon, Void Force, Magic Shot and Stun Dodge (Yes, only 5 skills…)
Doesn’t learn anything else since he’s 97.
Fused via a retarded fusion of Loki + Throne + Raphael.
More of a trophy devil than Mara… Mara has better stats than Metatron and 500+ hp more…
Boss version has ~800k hp, same resistance as placeholder, i.e. void expel/death/mystical/nerve/mind, 97% resistance to the rest.

So Metatron is pretty much a buffed up Raphael without curative nature… I wonder how much more dissapointment I can take hahaha.
Indeed. My friend told me to go for Metatron rather than work on a Raphael. Now that I read this, Metatron’s not even worth it.

- More HP (~40 more)
- Slight higher support (~5 more than Metatron at base)
- 70% force boost from 2 traits
- Able to inherit weapon-based attacks
- Doesn’t take months of Diaspora to get the plugin
- Heal boost > -50% mp cost. Who the heck cares about devil’s MP usage when 100mp cost only 300 makka?
- 2x tri-union (Uriel, then Raphael proper) vs 5x (Uriel, Raphael, Odin, Loki, Metatron proper) tri-union to fuse
Metaton
- More MP (~100 more)
- Slightly higher p.atk/m.atk/rng.atk (~3 more than Raphael for each stat at base)
- Better resistance
- Only source of Mahanmaon
Morrighan is superior to both of them for law, force-based devil though…

I would ask if they could update the devil list with more interesting prospects, but that would just be silly.
Licensing issue with Atlus etc… Cave can’t add any canonical SMT devils to Imagine other than those that are already listed in the client files.
They are however free to add their own non-canonical stuff. See rice cookers, flying goldfish and other related stuff.
