http://www.4gamer.net/games/017/G001723/20100831019/

Summary of the above article:

- No release date stated for the next CoC. Nothing mentioned about Mr Archbishop either. Guess he has left Cave…
- STEVEN’s electric corridor is planned to have 108 floors. Next set of floors will be implemented on the second week of September
- Diaspora Ueno coming in December
- Ten Commandments will have 4 parts to it. Second part/act 18 will be implemented in October.
- Quartz silver/gold will be implemented in September. Silver targeted at level 25-50 players, Gold targeted to be an alternative to Ichigaya Gold.
- New PVP content will be implemented in November. A betting system MIGHT be implemented along with it.

Although its nice they’re finally adding Quartz Gold which better be something at least challenging.

You’ll have to excuse me if I take this with a large vat of salt, afterall these are the same people who said there was going to be an Nakano/Ueno(from what it looked like not Kuchinawa)/Shinjuku dungeon over 3 years ago I believe?

Meanwhile Raijuu is still crippled, at the bottom of a rotting well, forgotten.

The 108 floor thing sounds sort of interesting…if it ever gets beyond a few slimes.

But Raijuu being non-fusible is a feature based on Dojan’s logic that buggy friendship values for certain devils are working as intended!

Watch 108 floor end up like 40+ acts of CoC and other vague promises by Cave: abandoned halfway.

  • Royce says:

…and yet there’s still nothing for the players in the 90+ bracket. See also: anyone who plays for more than a month now.

To be completely honest, I’m surprised Cave is even announcing “new content” at this point. Of course these are more than likely empty promises yet again; the reason they’re so easily able to sweep all previous announcements under the rug is probably due to lack of a majority of the original player-base. Hell, I’m sure a majority of the original STAFF doesn’t know about previously planned updates…
